Subscription and refunds
Draft - not yet reviewed by a lawyer
This is a working outline so the pages exist and link correctly. Have a qualified lawyer draft the final text for the markets you sell in before you take a single payment. Subscription terms, renewal disclosure and cancellation rights are the clauses that get operators in this category into trouble.
How plans work
Each plan grants a set number of credits at the start of every billing period. One credit produces one video, and photo restoration is included at no extra cost.
Introductory and regular pricing
The first billing period is discounted. Every renewal is charged at the regular price for your plan. Both figures are shown before you pay and again in your account.
Renewal
Plans renew automatically until cancelled. State the exact renewal amount and cadence for each plan, matching what is shown at checkout.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the subscription page in your account - two clicks, no email and no phone call. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep any credits already granted until the end of the period you have paid for.
Refunds
Set out the refund window and conditions, and honour them. A refund policy nobody can actually satisfy produces chargebacks, and chargebacks are more expensive than refunds.
Failed generations
If a video cannot be produced, the credit is returned to your balance automatically. You do not need to ask.
