Terms of service
Draft - not yet reviewed by a lawyer
This is a working outline so the pages exist and link correctly. Have a qualified lawyer draft the final text for the markets you sell in before you take a single payment. Subscription terms, renewal disclosure and cancellation rights are the clauses that get operators in this category into trouble.
Who we are
Name the operating company, its registered address, its registration number and a contact address. Customers need to know who they are contracting with, and in most markets you are required to state it.
What the service does
We repair and animate photographs you upload, producing short video files. Results are generated automatically and will vary depending on the condition and content of the original photo.
Your photos and your rights
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You confirm you own the photo or otherwise have the right to use it, including the rights of any person shown in it.
Acceptable use
No photos of people who have not consented, no public figures used to mislead, no sexual content, and nothing intended to deceive or harass. We may refuse or remove content on these grounds.
Payment and renewal
Plans renew automatically until cancelled. The amount charged today and the amount charged on each renewal are both shown before purchase and are repeated in your account.
Liability
State the limits of liability and any statutory rights that cannot be excluded. Have this drafted properly - boilerplate copied from another service is often unenforceable.
Governing law
Name the governing law and the competent courts, and note that mandatory consumer protections in the customer's country of residence still apply.
